Thoughts about Jesus and the world we live in

I’m an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, serving in the Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference, currently appointed to West Lawn UMC as the Associate Pastor. I earned my Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological Schochris-and-teishaol and my Bachelor of Arts, majoring in criminology and minoring in sociology, from Wilkes University.

I am married to the love of my life and my best friend, Teisha, and we are have three beautiful children. In my previous career I served in law enforcement; first as a deputy sheriff with the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department and then as a patrol officer with the City of Wilkes-Barre Police Department.

In my spare time I enjoy watching sports (especially the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Penguins), watching documentaries or movies, and reading a good book (anything science fiction or the American Revolution will do just fine). While camping or hiking God’s beautiful creation, I enjoy taking photographs. I also enjoy a friendly game of ping-pong, chess, backgammon, or really any board game that involves strategy.

Thanks for checking out my blog, I hope you enjoy. Peace and blessings to you and yours.
